Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Babb in the 97-98 season. Babb moved to Anfield in '94 from Coventry City in a £3.6M deal that made him Britain's most expensive defender. After starring at the USA '94 World Cup the defender quickly established himself as a regular at the heart of The Reds defence. Babb made 31 appearances in all competitions in this campaign helping the side to a 3rd place finish in the Premier League. He spent 5 years with the club in total before moving to Tranmere and then on to Portugal with Sporting CP
