Duncan McKenzie is one of the original Football characters

nicknamed ‘Maverick’ Mckenzie he was blessed with a natural charm, wit and talent – he loved the fans and they loved him back in return

Whilst he played for Nottingham Forest, Leeds, Everton, Chelsea and Mansfield Town – he is best known for his pre-game antics. He would entertain the fans by throwing a gold ball the entire length of the pitch, doing headers and keep ups or most famously – jumping over a Mini Cooper!
