Description

The 1990 FA Cup is a key turning point in the history of Manchester United.

It was the first of many trophies won by the great Sir Alex Ferguson, and if rumours are to be believed, winning this trophy prevented Sir Alex Ferguson from getting sacked!

Without the FA Cup in 1990, there would be no 1991 Cup Winners Cup, no Double, no Treble, no 2008 Champions League, no Sir Alex Ferguson stand – Manchester United history would be completely different

Sir Alex had been in charge of Manchester United for 4 years before he won this trophy and brought the glory years back to Old Trafford

Whilst the Class of 92 are fondly remembered as the greatest crop of talent to have graduated through The Cliff since the Busby Babes – the team that Sir Alex Ferguson established in the early 90s are the men that taught the Class of 92 what it means to play for and represent Manchester United, legends of the club who started the era of success under Sir Alex

This large, glossy picture is of the Manchester United team celebrating that historic first trophy under Alex Ferguson, the 1990 FA Cup – Manchester United’s 7th FA Cup overall and the first of 5 under Sir Alex

It has been signed by THREE Manchester United legends Captain Marvel Bryan Robson, legendary Striker Mark Hughes and Mr Dependable Clayton Blackmore
